Our grid has been running very well and we got our first update! the grid that we are running is helping find a cure for childhood cancers! One of these cancers are called Neuroblastoma which arises in children under the age of two with only a 40% survival rate. As we explained the grids were helping scientist learn more about the proteins that help cancer grow. They have completed that research and found that there are three proteins. Now scientist need to search the three million drug candidates for a treatment. Our computer will be helping with just that.
